The movie was quite long…but not unbearably. The story and script I thought were creative enough to keep Joker’s beginnings vague enough to warrant some explanation in some other movie (perhaps) but still able to lead audiences (well at least us) to believe and accept that this Joker is truly someone insane, damaged, demented and incredibly smart.Dent’s evolvement into Two-Face was brilliantly orchestrated to make the Batman somewhat answerable to Dent’s pain of losing Rachel… and Joker’s culpability, only a far second..Gordon’s death and re-birth, I didn’t expect at all.A lot of people have commented on the Bat’s vocalizations… truly, it does sound too unworldly and quite over the top, even for a Hollywood flick.
