Halloween '06

As expected, Halloween was as eagerly anticipatd by my kid, Vivian ...and of course, as did my wife, Thess. In true stage-mother fashion, we had a dress made around two weeks before the Halloween parties began. It is important to note that Halloween '05, Vivian dressed up as her favorite movie heroine (at that time) ...Annie (yes the orphan).

As in all important events...there is the dress rehearsal. Does the dress fit? Making sure the wig and the made-up Ogre ears don't fall off. Last of all, practising how a Princess projects and smiles and curtsies.

The main event.... which was the LEAP school's Halloween Party last Oct 18. Teacher's literally exclaimed her name upon seeing her at the entrance...all painted up and ready to party. Parents kept wanting pictures taken of their kids with our princess. Viv's classmates, at first, didn't recognize her but eventually did when Fiona smiled.

Princess Vivian and my Queen...enjoying the night.

Subsequent parties were office parties where Vivian went around Mommy and Daddy's office, greeting everyone "Trick or Treat!" and getting loads of candies at the same time. She even made some new friends.

Wonder what she'll be next year....:)
