hi folks...

just wanted to let everyone know that I got to Muscat just fine. Been here over a week now, Still adjusting to the whole place... the weather, culture, driving, etc. but generally doing ok. Still booked in a hotel but have been looking around for available apartments, which is a particular challenge in itself these days. hope to get my laptop soon enough...feel so disconnected without it. Fortunate to have kabayans' around the office I can talk to...and borrow their laptops when they are off to eat lunch at home.
