yet another weekend at the beach (we tagged along my wife's office offsite aka summer outing hehe) ...but this one had its share of unique...mmm, "events". first off was the morning struggle of finding the Subic port from which the Grande Island ferry was moored. I had the benefit of meeting Subic's Finest after misusing a left-turning lane. Nope, didn't weasle myself out of a ticket. So, after getting directions from the helpful traffic cops, we left blackie parked near the terminal and got on the ferry. The ride was quick enough and got us onto the island in about 30 mins.
Viv saw her friends from Halloween again. Every so often we would hear somebody (wifey's officemates) calling her Fiona. The beach wasn't so bad and the pool is actually great (child friendly, to borrow my wife's words). The food was good as well. Thing I didn't like about it though was how the entire resorts sections were so spread out. The cafe was like a 10 minute uphill walk from our place. But again, all in all, enjoyed the weekend with the family.
