The First week of School

Last week was a busy week for us. some changes and adjustments, first we all needed to wake up at 6am everyday, dadee's office schedule change and my house chores schedule ..without viv every morning =( .

First day: Vivian was so excited, saying, "we're runnin out of time, come'on". we arrived in school waited until the bell rang at 730am. we sent her to her classroom. i stayed in school waiting, three magazines with me, i need them until 1230pm. while reading, the head of the primary department saw me. she approached me and assured that everything will be alright that they will call us if ever there is going to be a problem. i was not worried about vivian on her first day. (pinoy)moms usually do this...right? (agree? i don't want to miss all her "firsts", ok?) and i also want to see where she and her classmates eat, the playground where she and her friends will have fun, where she puts her lunch box, hat and bag. i made sure vivian did not see me during class as they went out for their second snack and ate in the covered area near the playground, they actually have three snacks per day - light snack (usually fruits) , heavy snacks (almost an hour), then light snack(after a tiring physical activity). then they played in the big playground with kids from other classes with same level. bong arrived early from office to pick us up. i actually requested him to come early =). after few minutes, the bell rang and it was time to fetch her. i saw her sitting with her friends listening to her teacher and then she saw me and waved her hand and gave me a big smile.
Highlights:
1st day - teacher wrote on her diary, "a quiet but nice start, playing well with other children".
3rd day -right before daddy picked her up, she was wearing a necklace with 'Star of the Day' written on it and she went home with a star sticker on her uniform, well done!
4th day -teacher wrote on her diary, "we talked about the book - the lost teddy. vivian was quite confident talking one on one with me (with a smiley face).
