The Rope Swing

Vivian made a huge progress on her reading. We hope she will continue to develop a love for reading and passion for books.

Here are some notes from her teacher:

Feb 9 - "The Dream" - Excellent reading with Vivian recognizing lots of words. When she comes across a new one, rather than guessing she needs to use and blend her sounds. Good.

Feb 23 - "A New Dog" - Read well and knew it off by heart. We worked on putting sounds together "strong" and "small". Then we read "The Toy's Party". Vivian tried hard and did well.

Mar 1 - "What a Bad Dog" - Good Reading and Vivian read in a different voice with sentences that had an exclamation mark !

Mar 15 - Vivian flew through "Who did that?" and we then read "The Water Fight". Excellent reading.

Apr 21 - "On The Sand" and "At The Pool" - Vivian read both very confidently with no problems.

Apr 26 - "Creepy Crawly' - Great Reading.
