Ballerina

Vivian had been nagging us every so often that she wanted to try out ballet. She would bring ballet books from school. Every so often, would suddenly twirl into a pirouette when a song goes on cue. we were finally able to arrange for her to join a ballet class (age group 4-8). Classes were held in Hyatt and on her first visit, instead of joining the troupe (still feeling shy), she opted to just sit down and watch the teacher and the kids what they did for one full hour.

On the second visit, she got up the courage and joined in. for a first-timer, she was actually good at it. she was very very good. The teacher said as much after the class - that she was doing quite good and that she seemed totally at ease with it. most important of all was that she was very happy the entire time...her eyes said as much.

Vvian is a natural. She is very graceful. I'm amaze that at her age she can cope and keep in step with her fellow ballerinas. Congratulations!
