The reception classes went to Riyam Park in Muttrah for the annual Teddy Bear's Picnic last Tuesday, March 25. The park has a lovely setting near the white frankincense burner on the cliff top at the far end of the corniche.The two buses left the school around eight in the morning. The kids were wearing their PE uniforms and sunhats. They brought their snacks and water bottles and their favorite teddy bears. Vivian enjoyed strawberry jam with butter sandwich, a pear, a bottle of milk and mango juice. She came home tired but still managed to share with us right away her great experience, her favorites were the storytelling (of course) about bears and spending time in the playground with friends. Now we are looking forward for a family picnic with teddy =)
